Fight Bicycle Traffic Tickets in Las Vegas Online, Too

By | 2016-06-11T01:19:16-07:00 June 11th, 2016|Categories: Bicycle Ticket, Traffic Ticket|Tags: , , |

As tourists and locals alike begin to gear up for the World Naked Bike Ride Las Vegas (“gear” up very much intended, by the way), it is important to remember that bicycles are motor vehicles in terms of how they’re generally considered by law and by Las Vegas bicycling ticket law. Most if not all of the rules carry in almost every case with a few exceptions. For instance, if you’re off your bike and walking it you can be treated as a pedestrian for things like the crosswalk, sidewalk and other walkways, and more. When your feet are on the pedals and or your butt is on the seat and the bike is moving you are more often than not treated as a vehicle for ticketing and legal reasons. That’s why ticketpower.com helps not just cars and trucks but also bicyclists fight Las Vegas traffic tickets online. We handle all types of infractions and more serious actions you can commit as an operator of a moving vehicle or even as a pedestrian. If it comes from a method of transportation, be it your feet or a skateboard all the way up to a mack truck and you’ve been given [...]

Las Vegas DUI Checkpoint Announced for April 19

By | 2016-04-16T15:13:01-07:00 April 16th, 2016|Categories: DUI, Las Vegas Legal News|Tags: , , , |

The Traffic Bureau of the Las Vegas Metro Police Department recently announced that they will be conducting a DUI checkpoint in Las Vegas in the next few days. They were a little more coy than they sometimes are about the exact location, saying only that it would be in the Las Vegas Valley. They narrowed it down ever so slightly beyond that, saying it would be where there had been two fatal Las Vegas car crashes, as well a host of other traffic events. Per the news release on the Las Vegas DUI checkpoint: “The checkpoint will be conducted on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. The location selected for the checkpoint will be in the Las Vegas Valley on a major roadway that has had 87 events, drunk drivers and traffic accidents, and two fatal accidents in the last six months . . . This checkpoint is being supported by the EUDL, Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws, grant.” The Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws grant is one that is more frequently used to send secret “shoppers” into bars, restaurants, and stores that sell alcohol to attempt to make an underage purchase with a valid [...]

New Traffic Light Means New Las Vegas Red Light Tickets

By | 2015-01-28T23:11:33-07:00 January 28th, 2015|Categories: Online Legal Services, Running a Red Light|Tags: , , , , , , |

Watch out for traffic tickets in Las Vegas stemming from a newly installed traffic signal. The traffic light is at the intersection of Cimarron Road and Alexander Road. If you’re not familiar with the area, that’s in the north western part of Las Vegas. Alexander Road is an east west street, a few blocks north of Cheyenne Avenue. Cimarron Road runs north south, and is located a little ways to the west of Interstate 95. This light going up is said to be starting as a flashing red light in order for people to become accustomed to stopping there. That means if you’re on autopilot and miss it, you’re looking at a red light violation in Las Vegas. As anyone who has been through one of those knows, they are expensive! They are expensive, that is, unless you use 24hourticketpower.com to fight Las Vegas traffic tickets online. Our system saves you time, saves you money, and saves your hassle. Most of our clients are able to handle their citation without ever having to visit our offices, and they avoid Las Vegas traffic court entirely. We’re able to get our clients great outcomes for their Las Vegas traffic tickets because we [...]

Uber is coming to Las Vegas, it seems. If you’re not familiar with Uber, you’re probably not alone. A smartphone app that is popular in many big cities, you would only know it if you are someone plugged into that scene, or perhaps had lived or spent significant time in San Francisco, New York, or a few other cities it services. If you’re unfamiliar with what a smartphone or tablet app is, you may want to google the term and read up a little before heading any farther. The Uber app is paid ride sharing. The app connects you with a private driver who will give you a ride from where you are to wherever you’re going next for a prearranged fee. The app maker keeps twenty percent, and the driver keeps the rest.  One of the interesting things, and what got us here at 24hourticketpower.com interested, is the qualifications for drivers. The must carry insurance and have a spotless record with law enforcement to be licensed as an Uber driver. Now, we don’t know exactly what “spotless” means to Uber yet, since they’re new. But if it means not have any Las Vegas traffic tickets on your record, this [...]

Don’t be Dwight Howard. We’re not talking any of the negative things that are sometimes said about his basketball play, particularly his free throws. He’s not a shooter, ok? He’s not the guy that’s a threat anywhere on the floor he gets the ball, he’s not James or Durant or Duncan. He’s still a great player, league leader in rebounds, top stats in other areas. But we digress – our point was not to talk about his basketball game. Where you don’t want to be like him is how you deal with traffic tickets. In Las Vegas news on traffic tickets, here’s Howard, getting his license suspended because he didn’t pay a fine. Dwight Howard, ladies and gentlemen, could have used the service that people use in Las Vegas to handle traffic tickets online easily, quickly, and inexpensively: 24hourticketpower.com. With 24hourticketpower.com you don’t have to do any of the things that Dwight Howard forgot to do. You just don’t have to deal with it. And you certainly don’t have to deal with what Howard has to deal with now, which certainly includes going to traffic court. With 24hourticketpower.com you don’t have to leave your house to deal with your Las [...]

One frequent web page that those wishing to avoid speeding and traffic tickets in Las Vegas should bookmark and visit frequently is the View page of the Las Vegas Review Journal. The Area Briefings that they often put out can give you a lot of helpful information about where construction is taking place that could either slow you down, get you caught for the double penalty of speeding in a work zone, or both. There is also information in there about many other useful tidbits for those of us interested in recent occurrences or upcoming issues with traffic law and traffic enforcement. If you’re saddled with a Las Vegas traffic ticket and want to fight it online, visit 24hourticketpower.com for the hands down easiest, quickest, and most cost effective place to do that on the web. The Area Briefing has a lot of info that would be familiar to regular readers of this blog. Things like recent traffic enforcement numbers, stories of traffic violations or the number of people caught in particular enforcement stings, you name it. For instance, it highlighted a recent crackdown done by the Henderson Police Department, in conjunction with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, that [...]

Candidate Wants All Las Vegas Traffic Tickets Thrown Out

There is good news for those among us who just can’t seem to stay away from traffic tickets. Whether it’s from speeding or running a red light or a cell phone violation (or more), one candidate for Clark County District Attorney wants to have the DA’s office drop charges in Las Vegas traffic tickets where no property was damaged and no one was hurt. That would be good news for anyone staring down the barrel of a traffic ticket they can’t afford to pay, whether it be the money, the points on their license, or the hit to their insurance premium that comes with a traffic conviction. Before you get your hopes up, though, a dash of cold water: according to political handicappers, this candidate, Jim Duensing, appears to have very little chance of winning the race. A Libertarian, Mr. Duensing is said to have virtually no money, political backing, or hope of prevailing in current the current district attorney, Democrat Steve Wolfson, in heavily Democratic Clark County. That’s why you need 24hourticketpower.com. When the candidate who wants to throw out your Clark County traffic ticket has very little chance of becoming district attorney, you need an actual traffic attorney [...]

More Las Vegas Traffic Tickets Called For by Newspaper

It seems like clockwork that another newspaper editorial would have come out recently asking how we can eliminate or reduce the number of traffic accidents on our streets. Upping enforcement and handing out more traffic tickets in Las Vegas Metro’s area is one idea proposed, as is master planning of communities. Other problems identified and listed in blocks that are too long and should be shortened, the addition of more pedestrian walk ways, more police officers to carry out the extra enforcement listed above, and that more accountability should be taken and given. The article calls out certain efforts that have been put into place to lower the number of accidents in Las Vegas. In lieu of the ability to hire more officers, for a variety of reasons, Metro Police have shifted enforcement strategies. They’ve deprioritized sending officers to take statements and do official reports on car accidents in Las Vegas that don’t initially present with injuries. Laws have been enacted to combat distracted driving which is a definite cause of accidents and pedestrian injuries such as banning texting and talking while driving in Nevada and giving cell phone tickets out for it. It was even made a primary offense, meaning you can [...]

Be careful as you’re driving in the area of Blue Diamond and Cimarron roads. Especially be careful as you’re driving on Blue Diamond Road itself. This is a dangerous street, a number of bad and fatal pedestrian accidents in Las Vegas happen along the stretch of road in that area. Some of the accidents stem from pedestrians not crossing safely or legally, some stem from perhaps a speed limit that was too high. Some of the problems stem from a lack of clearly marked pedestrian walk ways and push button lights, forcing or at least facilitating unsafe pedestrian behavior. With two last things in mind, be careful now of driving your normal speed as it’s been lowered and you will get a Las Vegas speeding ticket if you’re on autopilot. You also could very easily end up running a new Las Vegas red light for running either the new traffic signal or the new pedestrian flashing signals. If you’ve made either of these errors, or any traffic violations at all, with 24hourticketpower.com you can handle a speeding ticket cheaply and totally online, in most cases. The new traffic signals in this area were planned in response to community outcry and [...]

Las Vegas Traffic Ticket Scam

A story of a recent and possibly current scam allegedly taking place in our valley is just another reason that you should only go with reputable sources, and trust your gut instincts. If you have a legitimate Las Vegas traffic ticket and want to fight it online, only go with top rated and recommended sites like 24hourticketpower.com that are both simple and inexpensive. Certainly less expensive, in any number of ways, than this recent attempt to scare money out of people that at least one whistle blower called the police and the media to investigate. If you want a positive experience with fighting a Clark County traffic ticket visit 24hourticketpower.com for convenience, easy, and economy. The person who called out this scam was a Las Vegas woman named Carol Webster. She claimed to have received a call from someone identifying themselves as a Sheriff’s lieutenant with Clark County. He claimed to be from the Warrant Division, and that the source of her arrest warrant was long overdue Clark County traffic tickets. Without immediate payment via a green dot money card, she would be arrested, he claimed, and even had a secondary person who spoke as the man’s captain to “corroborate” [...]

That’s good for those individuals because it means they can legally drive and avoid getting Clark County traffic tickets for driving without a license, and it is good for the rest of us. Why is it good for citizens and law abiding immigrants who are in this country legally? Because everyone gets in accidents, even and sometimes especially people who don’t have a driver license or authorization. They’ve never had to take a skills test at the DMV, like these people will now have to, and that can make them more prone to [...]

Distracted Driving in Nevada for Google Glass?

By | 2013-12-05T00:56:27-07:00 December 5th, 2013|Categories: DUI, Illegal Driving, Online Legal Services|Tags: , , , , , , , , |

Traffic law in Nevada is always evolving as technology, vehicles, roadways, and research evolve as well. Just very recently states have been adopting hands free cell phone laws, and just a little over two years it became law that you could get a traffic ticket in Nevada for a cell phone violation. At the same time, other laws and rules evolved. Nevada became a pioneer for licensing driverless vehicles to be tested and used here in certain circumstances. Those cars so far are by and large created and tested with the greatest potential commercial viability by Google, which is the subject of yet another controversy for its technology and how it affects traffic laws in Nevada and across the country. This time, the subject of the controversy is the new Google Glass, a pair of glasses with a small screen that, while transparent, is still a video screen that you’d theoretically be watching and distracted by as you’re driving. New reports are out that police in some states are starting to ticket for this offense. If you’re cited for distracted driving for using a cell phone in Las Vegas and want to fight the ticket without having to hassle with [...]

New Rules for Las Vegas Traffic Court

Do you ever feel like lawyers, judges, and legal professionals in general are speaking another language? If you’ve ever been in court, or even had a ticket and had to go to traffic court, you’ve probably had that experience. If you’re trying to fight a traffic ticket in Las Vegas by yourself, you may have gotten confused by the legalese they were speaking, and just thrown in the towel and paid the fine in disgust. For instance, take the new “clarifications” issued by the Las Vegas traffic court in a Traffic Bench-Bar Committee meeting. These clarifications are anything but clear to the non-legal professional, they sound like gobbledygook, talking about rolling three year reviews, bulk traffic court sessions, referees, mandatory traffic school and requirements that just came into effect for that, and how old citations will be included in the rolling review of three years, or not, and what dates certain new requirements come into effect that are covered in these new laws governing the disposition of these matters. Head hurt yet? That’s why you need experienced legal professionals like the ones we have at 24hourticketpower.com to fight your Clark County traffic ticket online – meaning you don’t have to [...]

Las Vegas Traffic Stops Can Lead to Bigger Trouble

It happens like this a lot of the time where a traffic stop in Las Vegas is not just a traffic stop. It happens in other cities and small towns and everything in between. There has been recent national news about a Texas town whose police force allegedly use traffic and civil forfeiture laws to essentially play highway robber on their roads. There is another recent and awful piece of national news about a man getting stopped for a minor traffic violation and then being anally searched, and worse, again and again and again without a warrant or consent, and they never found one single, solitary piece of criminal evidence. More often it happens in more mundane situations that you’re stopped for speeding or another traffic violation in Las Vegas and end up charged with a DUI or other, secondary infraction that leads them to the bigger charge. The good news is that our legal professionals at 24hourticketpower.com know all the ways to have any charges like this dropped, thrown out, or pled down. Visit our site today to get started. A recent case specifically in Las Vegas of a traffic stop turning into a bigger arrest followed a similar [...]

Careful of Violations at New Red Light in Las Vegas

Perhaps the one constant in this world is change. By nature, you change as you grow older, you and every other living thing on this earth. As cities grow older or bigger or younger, grow up or grow out, or even shrink, even more will change on the periphery as well as in fundamental ways to reflect any shifts in populations, demographics, areas of higher use or lower use, and more. This can be a challenge in any number of ways. It can stress infrastructure, crowd streets, force municipal changes, cause more accidents or fewer, and even, possibly, result in you getting a traffic ticket in Las Vegas. Why? Two words: auto pilot. On a route you drive constantly, everyone starts to take it for granted. You know where the lights and the stop signs are by heart, you zone out as you navigate them effortlessly, and sometimes find yourself at your destination with no real memory of the drive. The problem is that, if a new traffic signal or sign gets put in, you run the risk of breaking the law if you’re not paying attention. If this happens to you, and you need to avoid traffic court in [...]

More and more news keeps coming out about enforcement mechanisms and police focuses that we have been writing about seemingly for weeks now. One big problem that police are going to be focusing on, according to recent news reports, and issuing tickets for red light violations in Las Vegas especially now that school is back in. We’ve written a lot recently about some of the North Las Vegas police initiatives, and this goes hand in hand with some of that. With the number of pedestrian deaths in accidents in the Las Vegas Valley that have taken place this year, police will be focusing on targeted enforcement to cut down on this number, and issuing tickets to put teeth to their goal. If you’re issued a ticket for a red light violation in Southern Nevada and want to fight it, 24hourticketpower.com is the site to visit for the best, most inexpensive legal help you can get – and in most cases, you don’t even have to go to court, our legal professionals cover it for you.
